This Laptops give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Great affordable laptop, with a terrible screen
The one bad thing worth noting is the screen. The screen is really, really dim. The badness of the dim screen is magnified by how reflective it is. You won't be able to use it outside or near a large window. No problem at night or in a dimly lit room though.
The S400 feels very high quality. It's coating, weight, edges, the way it closes, and its keyboard all feel great. So good, I prefer the feel to my MacBook Pro.
It performs a bit sluggishly, but that is to be expected from an i3 processor and a price of just 499$. (Sluggish relative to my 4 other computers which, are all >1000$ development machines).
It works very well for video chats- the microphones are positioned away from the speakers and are directed at the user.
At 499$ with a brighter screen this would be 5 stars.
