This Laptops give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Powerful, Solid Laptop
I purchased this laptop to replace a HP HDX18. It was a good laptop, but I had numerous issues with it from the start (for some reason HP has a real problem with optical drives failing). Finally, the video card (or possibly the screen--I never verified) died, so I went about looking for a solid replacement. While the ASUS RoG line is pricey, there is an undeniable quality of construction that just wasn't there with my prior HP laptops. It just feels solid, tight, not loose and rickety like so many other brands.

The specs speak for themselves. I'm not a big gamer, but I do 3D modeling and rendering as a hobby, and this thing handles rendering almost as well as my desktop computer. The 12GB of RAM really helps to keep everything running smoothly, no matter how many programs I have open or Chrome tabs running simultaneously.

I did do a personal upgrade from the standard operating system hard drive to a 128GB solid state drive (SSD). The speed difference is...

2. Got what I expected
This is a 30-day user review. I purchased the same Amazon product from J&R directly after looking at my pricing options, but Amazon is always competitive great. I'll state upfront I'm satisfied with everything so far. I've read some mixed reviews and understand everyone has a different experience. With that said, I'll go into detail.

1. As a laptop that's really a desktop replacement for a casual gamer, that category means, its more luggable than portable. It comes with a nice ROG branded back pack, so you'll look cool lugging it around, if needed. Don't complain about short battery life or heavy power supply since that was a trade made when you wanted a gaming laptop. I'll agree there may be lighter options. The build quality won't get you a lightweight.

2. As a gaming platform, you may want to buy a gaming keyboard. I did, and while there is nothing wrong with the keyboard, you may want to adjust the screen location to be higher than your arms can...

ASUS Review
This is an outstanding gamer and the best lap top I have ever owned. The price is affordable given all the programs that come installed. The sound and graphics just knock your socks off. Highly recommended!
