This is an awesome acer laptop. I'm still in the process of getting used to Windows 8 and so far so good. Its a great option to have a touch screen and actual keyboard combined with lots of ram (4GB) and ample HD (500GB). There are so many models and configurations to choose from for my price range such as 4GB to 6GB in combination with 400GB to 750GB of HDD. Personally, I only needed this computer for basic internet, videos and music, some office work. This computer has more speed than I need in my daily use. I have the option to upgrade the ram to 8GB by just adding another 4GB on the available slot. Needless to say, I don't need the extra ram for now. Let me break down my review on features....

-Performance: more than enough power and speed for my needs. 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD. RAM is upgradable up to 8GB

-Screen: The resolution is average. But I can still watch with a good quality HD. Its a budget laptop so this is expected. If you want more than you have to pay...

2. Get a laptop that is comuter friendly and professional like I did!!
Acer was able to back up its products worth. Refurbished and with excellence. I was glad to purchase my first touchscreen laptop with Acer. I was accustomed to Dell computers, but it can not compare to the Aspire. I look forward to purchasing other products from them. I have had it for a month now. And its working great!
